A: Kids are totally welcome! However, it's best to check with the provider about age limits for the paddling lesson. Generally, they suggest kids around 8 and up can have a good time on the boards, but younger ones can join if they're comfortable in the water. Just make sure they have a good life jacket and can swim a bit.

A: That’s a great question! If the weather's bad, South Pacific Kayaks will usually reschedule your lesson with no extra charge. They really care about your safety and experience. Just keep an eye on the forecast, and reach out to them if you're unsure; they're super helpful!

A: They usually offer some light snacks like granola bars and fruits, plus bottled water and juices! You don’t need to bring anything unless you have specific preferences. Just wear a swimsuit and maybe a rash guard for sun protection, and you'll be good to go!

Just came back from the SUP lesson in Makena, and it was epic!

OMG, I just did the private stand up paddling lesson in Makena and I can’t recommend it enough! We saw so many turtles and paddled over this beautiful coral reef! The guide was super chill and let us choose where to go. Plus, the snacks after were a nice touch. Seriously, if you're considering this, just do it!
