Q&A
A: There's no specific age limit for the stargazing experience! Kids love it, and the guides are great with all ages. Just make sure younger kids can sit still for a while because it can get a bit chilly at night. If they're really little, maybe bringing a blanket or something cozy would help.
A: Yeah, if the weather doesn't cooperate, the guides are super flexible! They’ll reach out to you ahead of time to discuss options for rescheduling. It's best to keep an eye on the forecast and touch base with them a day or two prior to your booking.
A: You'll definitely want to dress in layers! It can get quite chilly, especially once the sun goes down. I'd recommend a warm jacket and maybe some blankets if you’re extra sensitive to the cold. Bring some comfy shoes too, in case you have to walk a bit to the stargazing spot.

Thinking of gifting the Private Stargazing experience at Sequoia! Anyone done it?
I’m considering this as a birthday gift for my fiancé. He’s super into astronomy and I think the dark skies of Sequoia would be perfect! I read they have space laser pointers and even reclining chairs. Sounds amazing! Anyone have tips on what to expect?
Just did the Private Stargazing at Sequoia National Park!
I went last weekend with some friends, and I can’t recommend it enough. The guide was super knowledgeable and had great equipment. The reclining chairs were comfy for star gazing, and we even saw a meteor shower! Just be prepared for the cold, but they provide blankets. It was an epic night!
