Discover the beautiful views of the ocean, local wildlife, the iconic east side of Oahu, and the sun dipping into the sea as you join me on a private catamaran cruise in Waikiki. We’ll depart from Kewalo Basin Harbor located in Honolulu and make our way up the coastline to Diamond Head, making stops along the way for any turtles, dolphins, or whales we may spot during our journey. Once at the top of our route, we will find a calm anchorage to relax at. Guests are welcome to join me for guided snorkeling and swimming or just dip their toes in the water as we soak in the beautiful afternoon. The vessel is exclusively reserved for your party so you are welcome to play your own music and bring any refreshments you would like to enjoy during our time together. I’ll happily be sharing my local knowledge and the cultural history of the area we are traveling in throughout the cruise. There is no better way to end the day.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the catamaran cruise?

A: There's no strict age limit for kids, but I’d recommend it for kids who are comfortable in the water. My 7-year-old loved it, and the crew was super friendly with him. Just keep an eye on them while snorkeling! Also, it's a good idea to bring some floaties or life jackets if they're not strong swimmers.

Q: What should we wear for the sunset cruise? Is it cold in the evening?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can be warm while cruising, but it gets a bit chilly once the sun sets. I wore a swimsuit with a light cover-up, and I was fine. Just bring a light jacket or sweater for when the sun goes down, and don’t forget flip-flops!

Q: Can we bring our own drinks and snacks? What’s allowed?

A: You can absolutely bring your own drinks and snacks! I brought a cooler with some local beers and snacks, and it made the experience even better. Just keep in mind that glass isn’t allowed, so stick to cans or plastic. The crew was super chill about it.

Just did the sunset catamaran cruise in Waikiki—amazing experience!

My partner and I just went on the Private Sunset Catamaran Cruise last week and wow, what a way to end the day! The views of Diamond Head and the coastline are breathtaking, especially as the sun sets. We saw turtles and even a dolphin! Plus, we brought some drinks and snacks, and the crew was super cool about it. Just be ready for a bit of a chill once the sun goes down; I wish I had brought a light jacket. Highly recommend this for a romantic gift or just a fun time with friends!

Thinking about gifting the catamaran cruise—any tips?

I'm looking at gifting the Private Sunset Catamaran Cruise for my sister's birthday. She's a huge fan of the ocean but has never been on a catamaran. Is this a good choice? Any tips for making it special? Also, what's the best time of year for this? I'd love to hear some experiences!
