Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for the Private Sunset Whale & Dolphin Watching tour, but I would recommend it for kids 6 and up since the ride can get a bit bumpy. Plus, they’ll enjoy spotting the whales and dolphins! Just make sure they’re comfortable in a life vest, as those are provided. Definitely check with the provider for any specific concerns!
A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly on the water, especially at sunset. A light jacket or hoodie is a good idea. Also, wear comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting wet. Sunscreen and sunglasses are a must, too, even in the evening!
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the tour can be rescheduled at no extra cost. The providers are pretty flexible and will reach out if they need to cancel for safety reasons. Just make sure to check their policy before booking, so you know what to expect!

Thinking about gifting the Private Sunset Whale Watching - any tips?
Hey everyone! I’m looking to gift the Private Sunset Whale & Dolphin Watching experience in San Diego for my parents’ anniversary. I love that it’s a private tour and they’ll get to see whales up close! Has anyone done this? What did you think? Also, any tips for making it extra special?
Just went on the Private Sunset Whale Watching tour!
WOW, what an amazing experience! We went last week, and I can’t believe how close we got to the dolphins. It was a private Zodiac, so it felt super personal. Our captain was super knowledgeable, and we saw so many whales, too! I highly recommend it for anyone considering it! 😍
