A: Yes, if the weather is not suitable for surfing, you can reschedule your private lesson. Just make sure to contact Surf Yoga Maui as soon as you know there's a problem. They’re pretty flexible when it comes to bad weather!
A: There’s technically no strict age limit, but they usually recommend ages 8 and up for safety. Kids do great with the one-on-one attention and often have a blast! Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water.
A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting wet. The rash guards and reef shoes are provided, but a swimsuit or board shorts are perfect underneath. And don’t forget sunscreen!

Just booked surf lessons in Kihei! Any tips?
I’m so excited! I just booked private surf lessons for beginners at Kalama Park in Kihei for next week. It's geared for beginners, which is perfect since I've never surfed before. The fact that all the gear is included is such a relief. Anyone have tips for a total newbie like me? I really hope I don’t wipe out too much!

I took the private surf lessons last month in Kihei, and it was amazing! My instructor was super chill and really helpful. We did a two-hour session and I was actually able to catch a few waves! 🌊 I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to learn. It's just a bit tricky parking near Kalama Park, so plan to arrive early.
