Q&A

Q: Are there age limits for the private surf lessons?

A: There's no strict age limit for the lessons! Kids as young as 6 can join in, but it really depends on their comfort level in the water. The instructor is super patient and tailors the lesson to fit the student’s age and skill. Just make sure to check the weather before you go!

Q: What if the weather's bad on the day we booked?

A: If there's bad weather, like storms or dangerous waves, they usually try to reschedule you for another day. Just keep an eye on the forecast and you can always contact them directly a day or two before your lesson to confirm everything is good to go!

Q: What should I wear for the surf lessons?

A: You'll want to wear a swimsuit, of course! A rash guard is also a good idea to protect against sunburn or irritation from the board. If it’s a cooler day, maybe bring a wetsuit. Also, don’t forget a towel for after the lesson!

Just got back from private surf lessons at North Myrtle Beach!

I gifted my boyfriend private surf lessons with Native Surf Lessons in North Myrtle Beach for his birthday, and it was AMAZING! He got one-on-one coaching, and the instructor was super chill and friendly. They provided the surfboards, which was such a relief. He managed to ride a wave by the end! If you’re thinking of gifting this, just do it, you won’t regret it!

Considering private surf lessons as a gift for my brother. Thoughts?

I’ve been looking into private surf lessons for my brother's upcoming birthday. He's always wanted to try surfing but hasn't yet. I found this place in North Myrtle Beach that offers personalized lessons. The price is right too—free to book! Anyone have experiences they can share? I want to make sure it’s worth it!
