I finally did it! Took a private surfing lesson on the North Shore with Catch'a Wave and it was so much fun. My instructor was really patient and we spent a good 2 hours on the water. I caught a few waves and even stood up! Highly recommend this for anyone looking to learn or improve their skills. Just remember to wear sunscreen!
