Q&A
A: The best time to go is definitely during the fall when the grapes are being harvested. However, Temecula has events year-round, like the Grape Stomp in September and various wine festivals. Spring is lovely too, with wildflowers blooming. Just check their schedule for events before booking!
A: Lunch isn't included, but you'll have stops at Cougar Winery or Bel Vino Winery where you can buy meals. Both places are super scenic and have great options. Just make sure to bring some snacks or plan for the charcuterie boards at Oak Mountain!
A: The tour is mainly geared towards adults since it involves wine tastings. Kids are allowed, but it's not a kid-focused experience, so you might want to consider if that's okay for your family. There are beautiful spots for them to enjoy while you sip!

Just did the Temecula Wine Tour – Such a great experience!
Hey everyone! I recently went on the private wine tour from Dana Point and it was awesome. We stopped at Somerset Vineyard first and learned a lot about wine making. The tour guide was super fun! Oak Mountain's underground cave was a highlight for sure. We did lunch at Cougar Winery; the view was to die for! If you're thinking of gifting this to someone, I totally recommend it. Just remember, tastings aren’t included in the price, so budget for that!
Buying this wine tour as a gift – any tips?
I’m considering getting the private Temecula Wine Tour for my parents’ anniversary, but I’m kinda nervous they won’t like it. They enjoy wine, but I’m not sure if the whole day is their vibe. What do you all think? Anyone done it with older folks?
