Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? Can kids join?

A: Yes, kids can definitely join the tour! It's a family-friendly experience, but just keep in mind that there's a fair amount of walking involved. I took my 8-year-old, and she loved it, especially the sunset views at the Grand Canyon. Make sure to bring some snacks for the kiddos, though; they can get hungry out there!

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Will the weather affect it?

A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly at the Grand Canyon during sunset, but it’s warmer earlier in the day. I’d suggest wearing comfortable shoes since you'll be doing some walking at the ancient ruins too. We had perfect weather, but if it rains, the tour might be rescheduled, so just keep an eye on the forecast.

Q: How does the dinner reservation work at El Tovar? Is it included?

A: The dinner reservation at El Tovar is made for you, but keep in mind that the dinner cost isn’t included. Just pay for your meal when you're done. The restaurant is super popular, and the atmosphere is amazing—great way to end the day after the tour! Make sure to check the menu in advance because it’s a bit pricey.

Just did the Grand Canyon Sunset Tour - WOW!

I recently booked the Private Tour Grand Canyon Sunset and Ancient Ruins for my family, and it was incredible! The views at sunset are just breathtaking, and learning about the ancient ruins at Wupatki was so cool. Our guide was super knowledgeable. We even got to see the volcanic fields at Sunset Crater, which felt like another planet! Just a heads up: make sure to wear comfy shoes and bring a light jacket for later when it cools down!

Looking to gift the Grand Canyon Tour!

I’m thinking about gifting the Private Tour Grand Canyon Sunset and Ancient Ruins to my partner for our anniversary. She loves nature and history! Has anyone done this as a gift? How’s the experience overall? I want it to be special.
