Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the Grand Canyon tour? Is it all outdoor walking?

A: I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes since there’s quite a bit of walking involved. Layers are key too, since it can get warm during the day but cool off in the evening. Sunscreen and a hat are also a good idea! You want to be prepared for anything.

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

A: Yes, Up North Tours has a flexible rescheduling policy. If the weather is really bad, they’ll work with you to find another date that works. Just make sure to give them a heads up as soon as you know!

Q: Is this tour suitable for kids? What age is best?

A: Absolutely! This tour is great for families. Kids usually love the wildlife and learning about the canyon's history. There’s no strict age limit, but I’d say ages 6 and up will enjoy it the most and can keep up with the walking.

Thinking of gifting the Grand Canyon private tour, any tips?

I'm considering this private tour for my husband's birthday next month. I love that it includes lunch and snacks — it makes things way easier! Has anyone done this? What was your guide like? Also, how early do we need to book?

Just got back from the Grand Canyon tour, WOW!

Seriously, this private tour was incredible! Our guide knew so much about the canyon’s history and the native tribes. Plus, the lunch was actually really good! If you're thinking about gifting this, do it! You won't regret it.
