Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for this tour? Thinking of taking my kids!

A: There's no official age limit for the tour, so you can definitely bring your kids along! Just keep in mind that some parts of the 17-Mile Drive might be less interesting for younger children, but the views are stunning and should keep them entertained. Also, make sure they enjoy being in a vehicle for a bit since it's a scenic drive. Pack some snacks just in case!

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is it cold along the coast?

A: Layering is key! It can get brisk near the coast, especially in the morning, so I recommend wearing a light jacket and comfortable clothes. The weather can change quickly, so be prepared for some wind. Comfortable shoes are a must if you want to explore a little during stops like Carmel and Monterey.

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate! Just make sure to contact them in advance. They’re pretty flexible about changing dates due to weather conditions. It’s best to keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your tour day, though!

Just returned from the Monterey tour—Amazing views!

I just took the Private Tour to Monterey and wow, what a trip! The drive along the 17-Mile Drive was unreal, especially the views of the Lone Cypress tree. We stopped at the aquarium in Monterey, which was a hit with everyone. I also loved strolling through Carmel, such cute shops and great food! Highly recommend this if you're thinking about a gift. The tour guides are super chill, too.

Thinking about gifting this tour—any tips?

I’m considering this private tour for my parents’ anniversary. They love the coast and I think they'd enjoy the scenery. Anything I should know before I book? How long does the whole thing typically take?
