Q&A
A: You can reschedule by contacting New York Peru Tours directly. They’re pretty flexible but give them at least 48 hours' notice if possible. Just make sure you have your booking details handy when you call or email them. The staff is super friendly and will help you find a new time that works.
A: There’s no specific age limit for kids. Families are welcome! Just keep in mind that younger kids might get tired, especially with all the walking on Liberty Island. They do have a lot of great interactive exhibits that kids love. Definitely a great experience for families!
A: Layers are key! The weather can change quickly, especially on the water. I’d recommend comfy shoes since there’s a lot of walking, particularly on Ellis Island. And don’t forget your sunglasses and a hat for sunny days. It’s a pretty casual tour, so just be comfortable!

Just did the private tour to the Statue of Liberty—thoughts?
I just took the private tour to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island last weekend, and it was such a fantastic experience! The pickup from my hotel in Manhattan was super convenient, and our guide was really knowledgeable. The ferry ride was smooth, and we had enough time to explore both islands. I loved that we could decide where to end the tour. Perfect for my family since we wanted to check out Battery Park afterward. Totally recommend it!
Thinking of gifting the Statue of Liberty tour—any tips?
I’m considering gifting this private tour to my parents for their anniversary. They’ve never been to NYC, and I think this would be awesome! What do you guys think? How was the experience overall? Any tips or must-knows?
