Let Valley of Fire overwhelm your senses, with stunning scenery, wide vistas and brightly colored rock formations. Valley of Fire is full of vibrant, red Aztec Sandstone outcrops nestled among gray and tan limestone mountains. The sandstone is from the Jurassic period and is the remnant of the sand left behind by the wind after inland seas subsided and the land rose. Enjoy stopping at a number of unique sites such as Beehives, Elephant Rock, White Domes, Mouse’s Tank, Rainbow Vista and others. The Visitor Center helps interpret the geology, wildlife and local history. Just over an hour outside of Las Vegas, Nevada’s first State Park will welcome you with natural beauty and a peaceful environment away from the neon. Valley of Fire is truly one of Nevada’s gems that should not be missed.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but I’d recommend this for kids who are at least 5 or 6. The tour can involve some hiking and walking around the valley, so younger kids might struggle a bit. Just keep in mind that the landscape can be rough in places, so make sure they're okay with it!

Q: What should I wear for this tour? Any specific recommendations?

A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers since you'll be walking around the valley. Light layers are best – it can be hot during the day but cool off in the evening. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen, too!

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can typically reschedule your tour if you give them 48 hours notice. They’re pretty flexible, but always good to check their policy when you book. Just make sure to call them to confirm the new date!
