Q&A

Q: What kind of clothing should we wear for the winter safari? Is it really cold out there?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get pretty chilly out there, especially in the mornings. I’d recommend thermal underlayers, a good insulated jacket, and waterproof boots—plus gloves and a hat. If you’re planning to take photos (which you should), make sure your hands are warm enough to handle your camera. And don’t forget your sunscreen; it can be deceivingly bright in the snow!

Q: Is this experience suitable for kids? What’s the age limit?

A: Yes, it’s great for kids! The guides are super engaging, and they’ll have a blast spotting animals. There’s not an official age limit, but I’d say kids over 5 would really enjoy it. Just keep in mind that some kids might get bored if it’s too long, so check with the provider about the duration before booking.

Q: How’s the parking situation at the meeting point? Is it easy to find?

A: Parking is pretty straightforward! There’s a designated lot near the meeting point in Bozeman, and it’s not too crowded, especially in winter. Just make sure to arrive a bit early to find a spot and get settled. The guides usually meet you right outside, so you won't have to wander around.

Thinking about gifting the winter wildlife safari experience!

Hey everyone! I’m considering getting this Private Wildlife Winter Safari in Yellowstone for my partner's birthday. I saw that it includes breakfast and snacks, which is cool! But I'm kinda worried about how to schedule it since we both work. Anyone know how flexible they are with rescheduling? Also, do they really make it fun and educational? I wanna be sure it’s worth it!

Awesome experience for winter lovers!

Just got back from the Private Wildlife Winter Safari with Yellowstone’s Casanova Guided Tours, and wow, it was beyond my expectations! We saw bison and elk, and the guides shared so much interesting info. The binoculars they provided were top-notch too. If you’re on the fence about gifting this, do it! Just remember to dress warm!
