Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to participate in wakesurfing?

A: There's no strict age limit for wakesurfing, but kids usually need to be at least 6 years old to comfortably ride the board. Lake Level Surf Charters provides life jackets for all sizes, and the coaches are trained to work with younger kids as well! Just make sure they're comfortable in the water and can swim a bit.

Q: What’s the best way to book this experience? Do I need to pay upfront?

A: You can book directly through the Lake Level Surf Charters website, and yes, you’ll need to pay upfront to secure your charter. They do have a clear cancellation policy, though, so it’s good to check that in case plans change! It’s super easy and you get a confirmation email right away.

Q: What should we wear for a day on the water? Any tips?

A: Stick with swimwear and bring a rash guard or lightweight top for sun protection. Water shoes are a good idea too, especially if you plan to get in and out of the water a lot. Don’t forget sunglasses and a hat! And definitely apply sunscreen, even on cloudy days.

Just booked a private wakesurfing charter at Lake Tahoe!

I’m so excited! I booked a private wakesurfing charter for my family at Lake Tahoe for next month with Lake Level Surf Charters. We can’t wait to try out the new MB Wakeboat! I’ve never wakesurfed before, but I heard they have great coaching for beginners. Just hoping the weather cooperates! Any tips from others who’ve done it?

Gifted a wakesurf charter for my boyfriend's birthday!

I just gave my boyfriend a private wakesurf charter for his birthday, and I’m pumped to see his reaction! We both love being on the water, and I’m hoping this’ll be a fun new adventure for us. The charter is supposed to include everything, which is awesome. Anyone else done this as a couple?
