Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but I think it's best for teens who can appreciate historical context. The guide was great at engaging with younger audiences on our tour, so I think your teenager would enjoy it! Just make sure they’re comfortable with walking for a couple of hours.
A: Dress comfortably! Sneakers are a must since you’ll be walking quite a bit. If it’s sunny, definitely bring a hat and sunscreen. If it looks like rain, a light poncho or umbrella would be smart to pack. The walk is mostly outdoors, so be prepared for the weather!
A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just be sure to contact them at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible, but it’s always good to plan ahead. Makes gifting it less stressful!

Just did the 'Jews of the Gilded Age' tour and WOW!
I just got back from the walking tour starting at the Plaza, and it was incredible! Our guide really brought the stories of the 5th Ave mansions to life. The history of the Jewish community in NYC was fascinating, and the stops were so picturesque. Ending at the Jewish Museum was a cherry on top. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves history or just a nice stroll in NYC!
Considering gifting the 5th Ave tour for my parents, any thoughts?
I'm thinking of getting my parents the private walking tour of the Jews of the Gilded Age. They love history and architecture, and my dad’s always been into Jewish culture. Is this a good choice? Any tips on what to expect or how to prepare?
