Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this ranch tour?

A: There’s no specific age limit mentioned, but it’s definitely family-friendly! Young kids tend to enjoy the animals and open space, just keep an eye on them since it is a working ranch. As long as they’re supervised, they should have a great time!

Q: What should we wear for the walking tour?

A: Comfort is key! Wear closed-toe shoes since you’ll be walking around a ranch. Layers are a good idea too, especially in the morning or evening when it can get chilly. And don’t forget sunscreen when you’re out and about!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather looks bad?

A: Yes, they're pretty flexible about rescheduling due to weather! Just call them ahead of time, and they’ll help you find another date that works. Keep an eye on the forecast though, as they can get busy!

Just did the cattle ranch tour—what an incredible day!

Took the Private Walking Tour at Walnut Hollow Ranch in Asheville last weekend and wow, it was amazing! The guide was super knowledgeable about their rotational grazing methods, and I learned a ton about cattle health. Plus, the views were stunning; we got some great photos by the pastures. Definitely recommend for anyone who loves the outdoors or is looking for a unique gift!

Thinking of gifting the ranch tour—who's done it?

I’m considering this Private Walking Tour of the cattle ranch for my parents’ anniversary. They love nature! I’ve read it’s a working ranch and includes learning about cattle management. Has anyone actually done it? Any tips on what to expect?
