Q&A
A: I'd recommend wearing comfortable hiking shoes and breathable clothing. The hike can be moderate, so if you’re not used to walking on trails, it might feel a bit challenging. Layers are a good idea since it can be cooler up in the mountains, and definitely bring a hat for sun protection!
A: There's really no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 8 years old to keep up on the hike. It’s a great family activity, and the guides are really good with kids. Just make sure they can handle some walking and follow along!
A: Yes, if the weather looks iffy, you can definitely reschedule! The guides prioritize safety, so they usually monitor conditions closely. Just make sure you give them a call ahead of time, and they’re pretty flexible about finding another date that works for you.

Just got back from the Private Waterfall Tour - Amazing day!
Wow, what a fantastic experience! We did the Private Waterfall and Blue Ridge Parkway Tour last weekend, and it was incredible. The guide took us to some hidden waterfalls that were absolutely gorgeous, and we got to forage for some wild edibles along the way. Not to mention, the views of the Blue Ridge Parkway were breathtaking! Bring your favorite snacks to enjoy during the hike; the provided snacks were great but nothing beats your own trail mix. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Asheville!
Considering this tour as a gift, any thoughts?
I’m thinking of giving this Private Waterfall Tour to my partner for their birthday since they love nature. I just want to know if it’s worth it? The price is unbeatable, and the reviews seem good. How’s the experience overall? Any tips for first-timers?
