Q&A
A: The prime whale watching season in Oahu is from December to April when humpback whales come to breed and nurse. I went in January and we saw so many whales! Make sure to book ahead since spots fill up fast, especially on weekends.
A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s best for kids 5 and up. The crew is great with families, and they provide life jackets for everyone. Just make sure your kids are comfortable on a boat!
A: Definitely wear layers! It can be warm on the shore but gets cooler on the water. A light jacket and comfy shoes are perfect. Don't forget your sunscreen and sunglasses too!

Just booked the Private Whale Watching Safari, can’t wait!
I’m super excited! I just booked the Private Whale Watching Safari with Go Adventure Hawaii for next month. Heard great things about the North Shore views and the chance to see humpbacks up close. It’s for a special occasion, and I can’t wait to surprise my partner! Does anyone have tips on what to bring?
Whale Watching on Oahu – Amazing Experience!
I just got back from the whale watching safari on the North Shore, and it was incredible! We saw multiple humpbacks breaching and even got to hear them through the hydrophone. The crew was super friendly, and the fruit snacks were fresh and tasty. Totally worth the price!
