Join us for a guided sledding adventure in our 3-row Subaru Ascent through Rocky Mountain National Park on a 5 - 6 hour private tour with only your party & your guide! On our tour, you'll see a frozen waterfall, we'll drive up the iconic Trail Ridge Road as far as it is opened for the season, go sledding for up to an hour at the Hidden Valley snowplay area, if conditions allow, walk around a frozen Bear Lake or Sprague Lake (both flat & less than a mile), and you'll also visit the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at the end of your tour. This tour is NOT a hiking tour, and focuses more on driving in the National Park with small strolls throughout. Minimum of 2 guests. *Micro spikes will be used instead of snowshoes and are included for your tour to keep you safe while walking on icy surfaces. We are only able to offer hotel pickup in Estes Park. If you're not staying in Estes Park, we can meet you at the free parking garage for the Estes Park Visitor Center for pickup.

Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids must be able to sit in the vehicle and participate in sledding. It's best for ages 5 and up, but younger ones might enjoy it as long as they can be safe and comfortable. Just check with the provider if you have really young kids to ensure it's a good fit!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes! They’re pretty flexible with weather conditions. If conditions are unsafe or not suitable for the tour, you can reschedule without any extra fees. Just give them a call or email as soon as you know you need to change plans.

Q: Is there a weight limit for sledding?

A: There isn’t a specific weight limit mentioned, but the sleds are designed for adults and kids alike. If you’re concerned, I’d recommend reaching out to the provider directly to ask! They might have specific recommendations.

Just booked the Private Winter Tour + Sledding, so pumped!

I just got this experience for my family’s holiday gift! We’re heading to Rocky Mountain National Park for the guided tour and sledding. The itinerary sounds amazing – I can’t wait to see the frozen waterfall and sled at Hidden Valley. Anyone who's done this, can you give tips on what to wear? Is it super cold?

Anyone else love this sledding tour? So much fun!

I just came back from the Private Winter Tour + Sledding in Estes Park and it was incredible! The drive up Trail Ridge was breathtaking. Sledding in Hidden Valley was the highlight — perfect snow! Just a heads up, the sleds they provide are really nice and you’ll be warm in the Subaru. Totally recommend it for families or a fun date!
