Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the private winter wildlife tour?

A: There isn’t a strict age limit, but younger kids might find the early morning hike a bit tough. It’s best suited for ages 8 and up. You’ll want to make sure they can handle the cold and keep up with the group, especially since there’s some walking involved. Just keep in mind that we want everyone to have a great time!

Q: What should we wear for the winter wildlife tour? Any tips?

A: Dress in layers! It can be super cold in the mornings, so thermal base layers, waterproof outer layers, and insulated gloves and hats are key. Don’t forget good hiking boots, too; you might be walking on snow or ice. I also recommend bringing some hand warmers just in case!

Q: How flexible is the itinerary? Can we change stuff on the fly?

A: The itinerary is pretty flexible! Mike is great about adapting to your interests. If there’s a specific spot you want to check out or a type of wildlife you’re hoping to see, just let him know. He’ll do his best to make it happen, depending on conditions. Just be ready for the unexpected—nature can be unpredictable!
