Q&A
A: The best time for this tour is definitely late spring to early fall, like June through September. That's when wildlife is most active, especially bears and wolves, and the weather is generally pleasant. Just keep in mind that mornings can be chilly, so dressing in layers is key. Just remember, sightings are never guaranteed, but this is your best shot!
A: There's no strict age limit, but it’s definitely more suitable for kids who are at least 5 or 6, as they need to be able to sit still and stay quiet during the tour. Younger kids are welcome, but you'll want to consider how well they handle a full day of travel in a vehicle. Overall, it’s a great family experience!
A: I’d suggest wearing layers! Mornings get pretty cold, but it warms up during the day. Sturdy shoes are a must since you might be walking a bit at some stops. Also, don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, as you’ll be out in the sun a lot. Comfortable clothes will make the experience so much better.

Thinking of gifting the Private Yellowstone Wildlife Sightseeing Tour! Thoughts?
I’m considering this tour for my parents' anniversary. They love nature and wildlife, and I think it’d be an awesome experience for them! I know it focuses on the Northern loop, but do they really see a lot of wildlife? Any personal experiences or tips would be great!
Just did the Private Yellowstone Wildlife Tour - amazing!
I finally went on the Private Yellowstone Wildlife Sightseeing Tour last week, and it was unforgettable! We saw a herd of elk and even a bear from a distance. The picnic lunch was great too! Just make sure to get an early start for the best wildlife viewing. Anyone else had similar experiences?
