Q&A
A: Definitely layer up! You’ll want to wear thermal base layers, a good insulated jacket, and waterproof boots. Don’t forget a hat and gloves, too, since it can get really chilly, especially in the morning. The tour guides will provide heated transportation, but being warm while you’re outside is key!
A: There’s no strict age limit, but it's recommended for ages 6 and up since the tour can involve some long hours in the vehicle and outside. Just make sure your kids are prepared for the cold and can stay engaged. They’ll love the wildlife spotting!
A: They do monitor the weather closely! If it’s unsafe, they’ll reschedule or refund you. Tours can still happen in light snow, but if there’s a major storm, it's best to check with them directly. They’re super accommodating and will keep you updated.

Just got back from the Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Safari – what an experience!
OMG, if anyone's considering this as a gift or just for yourself, DO IT! I went last month from Gardiner and it was unforgettable. The guides were amazing and full of energy. We saw bison, elk, and even some wolves! They provided breakfast and snacks, which was great because we were out for a while. Highly recommend dressing in layers though; it was frigid! Can’t wait to go again.
Thinking of gifting the Yellowstone Safari to my parents – any tips?
Hey everyone! I’m looking to get the Private Yellowstone Winter Wildlife Safari for my parents as a gift. They love nature and wildlife, but they’re not too outdoorsy. Is this tour easy to handle for non-adventurers? What can I expect?
