Our guides are experienced and knowledgeable and will take you on a journey through the night sky. Learn to find north and the location of our seasonal triangles, constellations and planets. Using high-powered laser pointers, we will provide you an entertaining and scholastic experience, with stories about ancient civilizations, Greek mythology, and the evolution of the Cosmos. Our telescopes are operated with a keypad and are as easy to use as sending a text. Telescopes are pre-programmed with our object list for the night. Pressing one button on the keypad moves the telescope to the next object. We regularly view the following types and classes of objects: Galaxies, Nebulae, Star Clusters, Double and Binary Stars, Planets, Earth’s Moon, Globular Clusters, Comets, and more. Depending on timing, the International Space Station (ISS) and Starlink trains can be seen passing overhead.

Q&A

Q: Can this be done with kids? What age is appropriate?

A: Yes, kids can definitely join! The experience is really engaging, but I'd say it's best for ages 8 and up. They’ll love the stories about constellations and the hands-on telescope experience. Plus, the guides are great at keeping it fun and educational for younger audiences.

Q: What's the cancellation policy if the weather's bad?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, they usually reschedule your session to another date or offer a full refund. Just make sure to check the forecast before booking. It’s best to plan for clear skies to enjoy the full experience!

Q: What should we wear for a night of stargazing in Moab?

A: Dress in layers! It can get pretty chilly at night in Moab. I'd recommend a warm jacket, comfy shoes, and maybe a beanie. They provide blankets, but you’ll want to be cozy while looking through the telescopes.

Just booked the Professional Stargazing experience in Moab!

Super excited for this! I booked it as a surprise for my partner's birthday. I’ve heard the guides are really knowledgeable, and I can't wait to see the ISS fly by. It’s supposed to be amazing with the telescopes. I was wondering if anyone has tips on how to prepare or if there’s anything special we should bring?
