Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Quindaro Ruins Urban Hike?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but I'd say it's best for teens and adults since the hike has steep hills and rocky terrain. Kids younger than 12 might struggle a bit, but it really depends on their comfort level with hiking. Just make sure to bring water and good shoes!

Q: What do you wear for the Quindaro Ruins Urban Hike?

A: Wear sturdy shoes with good grip since the trails can be rocky. I'd recommend breathable clothing because it can get hot, especially if you go in the afternoon. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen too! It’s a casual hike, so nothing fancy is needed.

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of the hike?

A: If the weather's bad, the hike may be rescheduled for safety reasons. Urban Hikes Kansas City usually provides updates a day before the event, so just keep an eye on your email. If you can't make the new date, they often allow you to transfer the ticket to a friend or another experience!

Thinking of gifting the Quindaro Ruins hike, any tips?

I came across the Quindaro Ruins Urban Hike and thought it’d be a cool gift for my history-loving friend! It's only 3 miles and includes expert guides, which sounds perfect for her since she's not the most experienced hiker. Has anyone done this? I’d love to hear about your experience!

Just did the Quindaro Ruins hike! Here’s my take.

I just finished the Quindaro Ruins Urban Hike yesterday and wow, it was amazing! The guide was super knowledgeable about the history, and the views were totally worth the climb. I was surprised how challenging the terrain was but it made it more fun. If you're considering it, just go for it! Bring water and some snacks!
