Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Radio City Music Hall Tour?

A: No age restrictions! The tour is suitable for all ages, but I’d say younger kids might get a little restless. It’s mostly a guided tour with a lot of history, so if you’re bringing kids, maybe explain some of the key points beforehand to keep them engaged. Just keep in mind that some areas may have stairs, but there are elevators too.

Q: What's the best time of year to do this tour?

A: Honestly, any time is great, but I’d recommend spring or fall for the best weather. NYC can be super hot in summer, and winter might be chilly. Just check the weather beforehand, and remember to dress in layers. I went in October, and it was perfect!

Q: Can you take photos during the tour?

A: Yes, you can take photos in most areas, but be respectful and don’t block the tour guide! The Grand Foyer has some amazing spots. Just keep in mind that in the auditorium, it’s usually no flash and no recording during performances, so save those shots for the lobby and Roxy Suite.
