Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the rafting trip? Do we need to bring anything?

A: You’ll want to wear a swimsuit or quick-drying clothing since you'll likely get splashed! They provide wetsuits and splash jackets, but it's good to layer up with a rash guard or something similar for comfort. Don’t forget a pair of water shoes or sandals with straps. Sunscreen and sunglasses are also a must!

Q: Is there an age limit for participating in this rafting experience?

A: Yep, kids as young as 6 can join in as long as they’re accompanied by an adult. The class 2 rapids are pretty chill, making it great for families. Just check directly with Liquid Descent for any specific requirements or if you have very young children.

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, Liquid Descent is pretty flexible with weather-related rescheduling. They usually assess conditions in the morning of your trip, so if it looks unsafe, they'll work with you to find a new date. Just make sure to let them know as soon as you can!

Thinking about gifting a rafting trip on the Upper Colorado!

Hey everyone! I'm looking at getting my brother and his family a rafting trip with Liquid Descent this summer. The class 2 rapids sound perfect for them since they've never rafted before. I love that they can even take a break at Radium Hot Springs! Anyone here done this before? What was your favorite part?

Rafting on the Upper Colorado – sooo much fun!

I just did the rafting trip last weekend and it was amazing! The guides were super chill and made us feel safe the entire time. We saw eagles and even some otters which was such a treat. The hot springs stop was definitely the cherry on top. If you're looking for a fun adventure, I can't recommend this enough!
