Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this clear kayak tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids around 8 and up usually do well. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water and can follow instructions. It's also a good idea to check with the provider beforehand if you're bringing younger kids, just to be safe!

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad on the day of the eco tour?

A: If the weather looks threatening, the tour operator usually gives you a call or emails you to discuss options. They may offer to reschedule or refund your payment. It’s best to keep an eye on the weather forecast leading up to the trip!

Q: What should we wear for the kayak and snorkeling experience?

A: Dress comfortably! Quick-dry swimwear is ideal, plus a rash guard or light shirt for sun protection. Water shoes can help too since the creek has a sandy bottom. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen, especially in Florida!

Just did the clear kayak tour at Rainbow Springs – so cool!

I went on the Rainbow Springs clear kayak eco tour last weekend and it was amazing! The clear kayaks are so neat, you can see everything underwater! We paddled through some beautiful spots and snorkeling in the Rainbow River was the highlight. I recommend it if you want a unique experience near Orlando. Just make sure you wear the right shoes for the sandy creek - it’s a bit tricky without good grip!

Looking to gift this clear kayak tour – any thoughts?

I’m thinking of giving this Rainbow Springs clear kayak experience to my brother for his birthday. He loves being outdoors and is always up for an adventure. Just curious if anyone has done it before and what you thought. Is it suitable for someone who's not a super experienced kayaker?
