Q&A
A: Yes, the kayaks usually have a weight limit of around 400 lbs total for safety and stability. So as long as you and your partner are under that combined weight, you should be good to go! Just make sure to check if you need extra gear for safety or comfort, especially if you're new to kayaking.
A: I'd recommend wearing a swimsuit, definitely! Maybe throw on a rash guard if you're sensitive to the sun. Don't forget water shoes since the launch area can be rocky. And if you’re planning to snorkel, a wetsuit can keep you warm, but it's not necessary unless you're super cold-natured.
A: Yes, this adventure is great for families! Kids usually enjoy the gentle paddling and spotting wildlife. Just keep in mind that children under 12 may need adult supervision, and you should check with the provider about life jackets for them. It's a memorable way to experience nature together, and kids love the water!

Thinking of gifting the Rainbow Springs Kayak Adventure!
I’m seriously considering this guided kayak/swim/snorkel adventure at KP Hole Park for my boyfriend’s birthday! He loves being outdoors and would totally enjoy the wildlife spotting. I mean, who wouldn’t want to paddle on those crystal-clear waters? I’m also thinking about adding the snorkeling package. Has anyone done this? Any tips?
Just did the Rainbow Springs adventure - what a blast!
I did the Rainbow Springs Guided Kayak Adventure last weekend, and wow, it was amazing! The water is as clear as they say. We saw turtles and even some otters! Paddling up Indian Creek felt like entering a fairy tale. The way back was so chill, just floating and soaking it all in. Highly recommend it!
