At KP Hole Park, step into one of Florida’s clearest spring-fed waterways & choose an adventure. The park sits directly on the Rainbow River & is an easy launch point. Once on the water, the real magic begins. Paddling upriver, travelers reach Indian Creek in about 20 minutes. This narrow, shallow creek is only about 3 ft deep—feels like a hidden spring garden, with glass-clear water & bubbling springs- stop, float, & soak it all in. Continue another 40 minutes upriver to Rainbow River, where the scenery opens up to vibrant aqua-blue water, a large blue lagoon, & abundant wildlife. Along the way- spot fish, turtles, otters, & a variety of birds. After exploring, there’s no rush to worry about—simply relax & drift back downstream to KP Hole Park, letting the gentle current do the work! Want to make it the ULTIMATE fun experience? Add on your snorkeling package, and let's make some great memories

Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the kayaks? Thinking of getting this for my partner and me.

A: Yes, the kayaks usually have a weight limit of around 400 lbs total for safety and stability. So as long as you and your partner are under that combined weight, you should be good to go! Just make sure to check if you need extra gear for safety or comfort, especially if you're new to kayaking.

Q: What should we wear for the kayaking and snorkeling? Any tips?

A: I'd recommend wearing a swimsuit, definitely! Maybe throw on a rash guard if you're sensitive to the sun. Don't forget water shoes since the launch area can be rocky. And if you’re planning to snorkel, a wetsuit can keep you warm, but it's not necessary unless you're super cold-natured.

Q: Can this be done with young kids? Looking for a family-friendly gift!

A: Yes, this adventure is great for families! Kids usually enjoy the gentle paddling and spotting wildlife. Just keep in mind that children under 12 may need adult supervision, and you should check with the provider about life jackets for them. It's a memorable way to experience nature together, and kids love the water!

Thinking of gifting the Rainbow Springs Kayak Adventure!

I’m seriously considering this guided kayak/swim/snorkel adventure at KP Hole Park for my boyfriend’s birthday! He loves being outdoors and would totally enjoy the wildlife spotting. I mean, who wouldn’t want to paddle on those crystal-clear waters? I’m also thinking about adding the snorkeling package. Has anyone done this? Any tips?

Just did the Rainbow Springs adventure - what a blast!

I did the Rainbow Springs Guided Kayak Adventure last weekend, and wow, it was amazing! The water is as clear as they say. We saw turtles and even some otters! Paddling up Indian Creek felt like entering a fairy tale. The way back was so chill, just floating and soaking it all in. Highly recommend it!
