Q&A
A: No age limit! This tour is great for families with kids of all ages. The trail is easy to moderate, so even younger kids can handle it with some adult supervision. Just make sure they’re dressed for the weather, and they’ll have a fantastic time exploring the rainforest!
A: Dress in layers! It can get a bit chilly in the rainforest, plus it might rain. Wear sturdy shoes, like hiking boots or sneakers, and don't forget to bring a light jacket. They provide ponchos if it rains, but a good pair of waterproof shoes would be great too!
A: The walk is 1.5 miles round trip, and while it’s classified as easy to moderate, there are some inclines and stairs. So, if you’re not super active, just take your time and enjoy the views! You’ll still have a blast at a slower pace.

Thinking of gifting the Rainforest Hiking Tour – any tips?
I’m considering this for my family trip to Ketchikan and wondering if it’s worth it. I heard the views are incredible, especially the seals and eagles part. What's the best time to go? Any tips on making it extra special? Thanks!
Just did the Rainforest Hiking Tour - wow!
I went on this tour last week and it was amazing! The trees and ferns were so lush, and our guide shared some fun facts about the ecosystem. We even saw a couple of seals! The walk was easy enough for my kids, and they had a blast. Highly recommend if you're in Ketchikan.
