Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but most participants are recommended to be at least 12 years old. Younger kiddos can join if they meet weight requirements (at least 90 pounds for safety reasons) and are accompanied by an adult. It's a great way to bond over an adventurous day!
A: Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty! The hike out can be dusty, and you'll be in and out of a canyon, so sturdy shoes are a must. Layers are a good idea since it can be cool in the morning but warm up quickly. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat!
A: ROAM has a flexible rescheduling policy if the weather doesn't cooperate. They'll usually let you know the night before if they need to cancel due to conditions like heavy rain or storms. You can then choose a new date that works for you. Just make sure to give them a call to confirm!

Thinking about gifting the rappelling experience at Zion - any tips?
I'm considering this rappelling trip in Rock Canyon for my brother's birthday. He’s adventurous but hasn’t done much rappelling. How’s the difficulty level? I want to make sure he’ll enjoy it without feeling overwhelmed. Also, how do you get to the trailhead from Zion?
Just did the rappelling experience - awesome adventure!
I just got back from the rappelling trip through Rock Canyon, and wow, what a rush! The 110-foot drop was breathtaking. The views were gorgeous, especially when you reached that lush part of the canyon. Definitely bring a camera! I recommend it for anyone looking for a unique outdoor experience.
