We are an Austin, TX-based global custom event design company offering scavenger hunts and other events in 300+ cities in North America and beyond. Our specially hand-crafted adventures are equal parts tour, creative challenge, detective hunt, and social experiment! Guests get to discover in an alternate reality our favorite hidden gems off the beaten trail and creatively interpret fun art, history, and culture clues - for points! They get to enjoy fame and glory while appearing on our website’s international leaderboard, no matter what their score. They get to essentially race other teams in other cities, even if they don’t have competitors who have signed up in their city that day. Q: Is there an age limit for the Rare Richmond Scavenger Hunt?

A: There’s no strict age limit for the scavenger hunt! It’s designed to be fun for all ages, but keep in mind that younger kids might need some help from adults. Also, the clues might be a bit tricky for younger kids without guidance. So, I’d say it's best suited for ages 10 and up, but younger ones can definitely join in the fun.

Q: What should we wear for the scavenger hunt? Is it outdoors?

A: Definitely dress comfortably since most of it will be outdoors in Richmond. Wear good walking shoes because you’ll be on your feet a lot. I’d recommend checking the weather before heading out. If it’s sunny, maybe a hat and sunscreen, and if it’s rainy, bring a light jacket and an umbrella!

Q: How easy is it to reschedule this experience if something comes up?

A: Rescheduling is pretty straightforward! You can contact Alley Kat Adventures directly to change your time. They’re pretty flexible, but just try to give them a heads up as soon as you can. They usually require at least 24 hours notice, so just keep that in mind!
