Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but it's a bit spooky, so it's generally recommended for ages 12 and up. Younger kids might find some stories a bit intense, but families often bring teens to enjoy the atmosphere! Just be sure to supervise younger children if you decide to bring them along.
A: Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking for about 90 minutes! The tour goes through some cobbled streets, so heels are a no-go. Dress for the weather, too. It can get chilly at night in Charleston, so a light jacket might be a good idea.
A: The tour usually goes on unless there's severe weather. If it rains lightly, they'll still hold the tour, and you can bring an umbrella. They do offer rescheduling if the weather is too bad to proceed, so no worries about that!

Just did the Real Hauntings of Charleston tour - loved it!
I went on the ghost tour last weekend, and it was awesome! Our guide was super knowledgeable about Charleston's history and all the spooky stories. We visited some eerie graveyards and really creepy alleyways. The group size was perfect – only about 10 of us, so it felt intimate. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a unique gift for someone who loves the paranormal or history!
Considering the ghost tour as a gift for my partner
I’m thinking about getting my partner tickets for the Real Hauntings of Charleston tour for our anniversary. They're really into ghost stories, and I love that the group size is small! But I’m worried about how spooky it actually is. Should I be concerned?
