Q&A
A: Yes, the driver must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license. Passengers can be of any age, so it’s a great option for families too! Just make sure whoever's driving is comfortable with the vehicle since it’s a two-seater.
A: Definitely wear comfortable clothes and shoes since you'll be taking photos and possibly walking around a bit at scenic stops. Bring sunglasses and sunscreen too! It can get pretty bright, especially in the open-air vehicle. And don’t forget your camera!
A: If the weather is really bad, they typically offer a reschedule option. It's always good to call ahead to confirm. Since it's a scenic drive, safety is a priority, so they'll make the call based on conditions. I’ve heard they’re pretty flexible about rescheduling if needed!

Just did the Red Rock Canyon self-drive and wow!
I got the self-drive rental for my boyfriend's birthday and it was honestly one of the coolest experiences ever. The scenic loop was breathtaking! We stopped a few times to take photos and the EV was super fun to drive. The colors of the rocks were just out of this world! Highly recommend this if you want a break from the Strip. Plus, the free comedy show tickets were a nice bonus!
Thinking of gifting the self-drive rental, any thoughts?
I’ve been looking at the Red Rock Canyon self-drive experience for my sister's graduation gift. It looks like a great way to celebrate. What do you all think? Are the views really as good as they say? Is it good for someone who doesn't usually drive much?
