Q&A
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but kids need to be at least 4 years old to ride the railbikes. It’s a great family-friendly activity! Just remember that younger kids will need an adult to ride with them, and the railbikes can accommodate two people comfortably.
A: If it rains, the experience might be rescheduled for a later date. They usually notify you the day before if they need to cancel. It’s best to check the weather and be flexible with your plans. They want everyone to have a great time!
A: Yes! There’s plenty of parking available at the station in Mendocino. Just arrive a little early to find a good spot since weekends can get busy. It’s a nice area to walk around and grab a snack before your ride.

Thinking of gifting the Railbike experience along Pudding Creek!
I came across the Redwoods Railbike experience and it sounds amazing! It’s in Mendocino and you get to pedal through the forest, spotting wildlife like herons and maybe even bears? I’m thinking of this as a gift for my adventurous friend. Has anyone done this yet? Any tips on what to wear, or how tough it is? I want to make sure they have the best time!
Just did the Railbike experience—what a ride!
OMG, the Railbike along Pudding Creek was unreal! We saw so many animals and the views were stunning. I thought it would be hard, but it was super chill, and you just pedal at your own pace. Took about 1.5 hours with breaks. Totally worth it! Highly recommend for a fun day out in Mendocino!
