Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the Reef Snorkel Adventure at Sombrero Key Light Reef! Kids are welcome to join as long as they can swim. The crew is great with children and provides life jackets. Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water. It's a fantastic family-friendly activity!
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and maybe a rash guard to protect from the sun. Flip flops are good, but I recommend water shoes if you have them—they're helpful getting in and out of the boat. Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen. The coral can be rough on bare feet, so be prepared!
A: If the weather isn’t cooperating, they’ll contact you about rescheduling! Safety is their priority, so they’re super flexible. Just make sure to check your email the day before. I had to reschedule once, and it was a breeze with their team!

Anyone done the Reef Snorkel Adventure at Sombrero Key? Worth it?
I’m thinking of gifting this snorkeling experience to my sister and her kids when they visit Key West. The reviews look great, but is it really all ages friendly? I’d love to hear some firsthand experiences. What was the best part? Any tips for making it even better?
Can we bring our own snacks on the snorkeling trip?
Looking into the Reef Snorkel Adventure and wondering if I can bring my own snacks for the trip. I know they provide some, but I’m just a little picky. What's the policy on that?
