Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to go paddle boarding on the Lower Salt River?

A: Great question! Kids are definitely welcome, and the river is quite beginner-friendly since it's class one. However, they should be able to paddle on their own or have an adult with them. It's good to check with the outfitter for specific age recommendations if you're bringing a younger child.

Q: What should we wear for the paddle boarding trip? Is it all wet?

A: You'll definitely want to wear something you don't mind getting wet! Lightweight, quick-dry clothes are perfect. Water shoes are a good idea too since you'll be getting in and out of the water. Sunscreen and hats are crucial to protect you from the sun!

Q: How difficult is the paddle boarding for beginners? Is it safe?

A: It's super beginner-friendly! The Lower Salt River is pretty calm, and the staff provides a lot of help with getting started. Plus, there are plenty of places to stop and take a break if needed. Just make sure to follow the safety guidelines for a fun and safe experience!

Thinking of gifting a paddle board trip on the Lower Salt River!

Hey everyone! I'm considering this paddle boarding experience from Lower Salt Rentals for my friend's birthday. It sounds super chill and a great way to enjoy the outdoors. I love that it's self-guided, so we can set our own pace. Anyone done this before? What was the wildlife like? Any must-see spots?
