Q&A
A: Yes, there are age restrictions for renting a scooter. Typically, riders need to be at least 16 years old with a valid ID. However, younger kids can ride if they're accompanied by an adult. Just check with Cycle Park NYC for any specific policies!
A: Comfort is key! I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you'll be on a scooter for a while. Dress in layers, especially since it can get breezy in the park. Also, don’t forget sunscreen if it’s sunny!
A: If it rains, you can definitely reschedule! Cycle Park NYC is pretty flexible with weather-related cancellations. Just give them a call or check their website to confirm the new date.

Thinking about renting a scooter in Central Park - anyone done this?
I’m planning to surprise my partner with a scooter rental in Central Park for our anniversary. I love the idea of stopping at Bethesda Fountain and Bow Bridge! Has anyone done this? How was the experience? Any tips would be appreciated!
Just did the scooter rental - here’s my take!
We rented scooters in Central Park last week, and it was a blast! Starting at Columbus Circle made it super easy. The views from Bow Bridge were stunning. Just a heads up, the turtles at the reservoir are a must-see! We packed a little picnic too, it added to the experience.
