Q&A
A: The tour is recommended for ages 13 and up, so it's definitely good for teens, especially if they're into history or politics. Chris, the guide, keeps things interesting with his comedic flair, which keeps everyone engaged. It's a great way for teens to learn about the presidents while exploring DC's beautiful neighborhoods, too!
A: Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking a lot! Dress in layers depending on the weather, because it can change quickly in DC. Also, maybe bring a light jacket if you're going in the evening. Just keep it casual—sneakers and a comfy outfit will do the trick.
A: Parking can be tricky in DC, especially in popular areas. It's usually best to use public transport if you can. If you must drive, arrive early to find street parking or look for nearby garages, but they can be pricey. Using Metro would save you the hassle!

Just did the Presidents Walking Tour—So much fun!
I went on the Residences of the Presidents Walking Tour last weekend, and it was amazing! Chris is hilarious and really knows his stuff about the presidents. We walked through Dupont and Kalorama, which are beautiful neighborhoods. I didn’t realize how much history was right there! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique DC experience.
Considering gifting the Presidents Walking Tour!
I'm thinking about getting this tour for my parents since they love history. They’re in their 60s but are pretty active. Has anyone taken them on this tour for an older crowd? I'm just worried about the walking distance.
