Q&A
A: There isn’t a strict age limit, but it’s recommended for kids aged 5 and up. The cruise can be a bit long for younger children, and the sea can be a little choppy. Just make sure they can handle being on a boat for around 4 hours. Also, bringing snacks is a good idea!
A: Layering is key! It can get chilly on the water, so wear comfortable clothing and a warm jacket. Don’t forget a hat and sunglasses, too. If it's sunny, you might want sunscreen. The boat provides some shelter, but you’ll want to be prepared for wind and splashes!
A: If the weather's really bad, Major Marine Tours usually offers rescheduling options or refunds. It’s best to check their policy when booking. They keep an eye on conditions and want to ensure everyone's safe and has a good time!

Just went on the Resurrection Bay Wildlife Cruise - amazing experience!
I just got back from the Resurrection Bay Spring Wildlife Cruise, and it was incredible! We saw gray whales breaching, and tons of sea lions! The captain was really knowledgeable and made the trip fun. The free coffee was a nice touch, too. Totally worth the time and money. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seward!
Considering the Resurrection Bay cruise as a gift, any advice?
I'm thinking about gifting the Resurrection Bay Spring Wildlife Cruise to my parents for their anniversary. They love nature and marine life! Has anyone done this? What was the highlight? Do you think it’s a good gift idea?
