Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for renting equipment at Ridden?

A: There's no specific age restriction for renting equipment, but they usually recommend that kids be at least 4 years old for skiing. The staff at Ridden are super helpful and can assist with sizing equipment for younger kids. Just make sure to have a parent or guardian there if they're renting for the first time!

Q: What should I wear while picking up the rental gear?

A: Comfort is key! You don't need to be in full ski attire to pick up your rental gear, but I'd suggest wearing layers since the weather can change quickly in Breckenridge. A light jacket, comfy pants, and snow boots should do it. You’ll want to be ready to hit the slopes right after you get your gear!

Q: What if I need to change my rental agreement last minute?

A: It's best to call Ridden directly if you need to make changes. They’re generally pretty accommodating as long as you give them a heads up. Just remember, no refunds on rentals, so if you have lift tickets, you're likely good to go! Better to confirm and make sure everything's set.

Looking for a fun ski rental experience in Breckenridge!

I just booked the Ridden Ski and Snowboard Rental Package for my trip next month! I heard they’re super local and the staff is awesome. I'm so excited to hit the slopes right by the Quicksilver Superchair. Any tips for a newbie like me? Also, how do the prices compare to other places?

Has anyone rented from Ridden recently?

I’m thinking of gifting the rental package for my brother’s birthday. He’s a beginner, but I want to make sure he gets good gear and tips. How was your experience? Is it easy to find the shop?
