Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this train ride?

A: There’s no official age limit, but I’d say it's perfect for kids ages 5 and up. I took my 7-year-old, and he loved it! Just make sure they can sit still for about 90 minutes on the train, and maybe bring some snacks to keep them engaged.

Q: What’s the best time of year to go for the best views?

A: Honestly, fall is unbeatable for views! The leaves change, and the mountains look stunning. But I'd recommend going early in the day to beat the crowds. Plus, the lighting is perfect for photos!

Q: What should we wear for the train ride and the spa?

A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly on the train, especially as the sun goes down. For the spa, you’ll want a swimsuit and flip-flops. They provide towels but bring your own if you want a little extra comfort.

Had a blast on the Heber Valley Train Ride!

I just got back from the Heber Valley 1899 Railroad experience and it was fantastic! The views of Deer Creek were breathtaking, especially when we stopped for a closer look. The ride itself was super chill, and I loved the little snack bar on the train. Plus, meeting the cows at the Kohler Dairy Farm was a highlight! I’m thinking of getting this as a gift for my sister’s family next month.

Considering the Heber Valley Railroad experience for a gift

I’m looking for a unique gift for my parents’ anniversary and this train ride looks perfect! They love the outdoors and would definitely enjoy the cheese tasting. Just wondering if anyone has done it and how the timing works with everything. I want to make sure they’ll have enough time to enjoy each stop!
