Q&A
A: You’ll want to wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes since there are a few stops where you'll be walking around, especially near the waterfalls. I'd suggest bringing a light jacket as it can get a bit cool in the rainforest. Don't forget your swimsuit if you plan on swimming at any of the black sand beaches!
A: Totally! The drive has breathtaking views and is more about taking in the sights rather than being physically intense. There are plenty of stops to stretch your legs and snap photos. Just remember, the roads can be winding, so if your gift recipient is prone to car sickness, maybe pack some ginger candies!
A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather’s not cooperating! They usually check the forecast and will let you know if it’s safe to go. If you do need to change your date, reach out to them as soon as possible, and they’re pretty flexible about it.

Just did the Road to Hana tour, and it was AMAZING!
I went on the full-day scenic drive last week and wow, what a trip! The views were unreal, especially the black sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park. We stopped at a few waterfalls and had the best Spam Musubi for lunch. It was super relaxing, but just be prepared for the winding roads! I can't recommend this enough as a gift for anyone visiting Maui.
Thinking about gifting the Road to Hana experience, any tips?
So, I wanna get this tour for my sister’s birthday. She loves nature but has never been to Hawaii. Any tips on how to make this gift super special? Should I include anything extra with the gift? I just want her to have an unforgettable day!
