A: Definitely wear something comfy and casual! You'll want to dress in layers since it can get a bit cool in the morning and warm up as you go. Walking shoes are a must since there are some hikes involved, and I'd recommend bringing a light jacket just in case. Don’t forget your swimsuit if you want to take a dip at the Black Sand Beach!

A: Great question! There’s no strict age limit, but it’s really suitable for kids who can handle a bit of travel and hikes. A: Yes, there can be weather-related cancellations, especially if it’s heavy rain. But the good news is that they usually contact you ahead of time and can reschedule! It’s a good idea to keep an eye on the forecast. I experienced a cancellation, but we got to go another day and it was worth it!

Just did the Road to Hana tour! What an experience!

I just got back from the Road to Hana tour with Awapuhi Adventures and wow, it was amazing! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the island’s history and ecology. We had a small group, which made it super personal. The stops at Wainapanapa and the black sand beach were breathtaking! Definitely bring a swimsuit for that beach, and the hike was perfect for my fitness level. Can’t recommend this enough as a gift for anyone going to Maui!
