Q&A
A: Kids can definitely join the Road to Hana tour! Just make sure they’re comfortable with long car rides because it’s about 10-12 hours depending on stops. It's a family-friendly tour, and many families take their kids along. Just pack some snacks and keep them entertained during the drive!
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can usually reschedule the tour. They’re pretty good about offering alternatives if conditions aren’t safe for travel. Just make sure to call ahead and check the forecast so you’re not left in a lurch!
A: Dress in layers! It can get hot, but if you're swimming at the waterfalls, you'll want something warmer afterward. Wear comfortable shoes because you’ll be walking around at stops like Waianapanapa State Park. And bring a swimsuit if you plan on jumping in the water! Sunscreen is a must, too.

Just did the Road to Hana tour - absolutely amazing!
I recently took the Road to Hana tour with Valley Isle Excursions and wow, it was an unforgettable experience! The stops were incredible, especially Waianapanapa with its stunning black sand beach. The picnic lunch at the flower farm was delicious; I loved the Huli Huli chicken! Our guide made the whole ride super fun and informative. Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone traveling to Maui!
Thinking about gifting the Road to Hana tour - any thoughts?
I’m considering getting the Road to Hana tour as a gift for my parents’ anniversary. They love nature and have always wanted to see Maui. I’m curious about the overall experience and if you think it’s worth it. Anyone done it recently?
