The entrance to Rock canyon is a thrilling one. Skirting the east boarder of Zion National Park, we take you through the dune like area known as Elephant Alcove compete with plenty of off road driving. Once to the trail head, Rock Canyon offers a delightful experience with four rappels, including a stunning 110-foot descent into a captivating alcove. As you approach the East Fork, the canyon turns into a lush scene with cottonwood trees and grasses. A small moderate hike out brings you right back to your vehicle. Being on time is very important. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will have to leave without you. We are on Mountain Time and we are an hour different than Las Vegas and Arizona. Thank You!

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Rock and Roll Rappelling experience? I'm thinking of gifting it to my teen.

A: Yes, there is an age requirement for this experience. Participants typically need to be at least 12 years old, but they should also be comfortable with heights and moderate hiking. It’s a great experience for teens who love adventure and the outdoors!

Q: What should I wear for the rappelling in Rock Canyon? Any recommendations?

A: Wear comfortable, moisture-wicking clothes and closed-toed shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. It can get hot, so layering is key. Don't forget to bring a hat and sunscreen, since you’ll be outside a lot!

Q: What if it rains? Will the rappelling be canceled?

A: If there’s rain in the forecast, the experience might be rescheduled for safety reasons since water can create dangerous conditions in canyons. It’s best to check with ROAM Outdoor Adventure a day before your booking to confirm your trip.

Just did Rock and Roll Rappelling – Amazing Experience!

I went on the Rock and Roll Rappelling trip last weekend, and wow! The 110-foot descent was unreal. We started off with some off-roading to get to the trailhead, which added to the adventure. The guides were super chill and had all the right gear. I can't recommend this enough for anyone looking for a thrilling gift idea. Totally worth the price!
