Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year to take the Grand Lake Tour?

A: Honestly, late spring to early fall is the sweet spot for this tour. You get to see wildflowers in bloom around June, and the fall colors in September and October are stunning. Just keep in mind that July and August can be a bit crowded, but the views are worth it!

Q: Are there any age limits for kids on this tour?

A: There aren't strict age limits, but it's best suited for kids aged 5 and up since it’s a full-day trip and involves some hiking. Just make sure they can handle a bit of time in the car and some walking!

Q: What should I wear for the Grand Lake Tour?

A: Layering is key! Mornings can be chilly, especially at higher altitudes, so wear a light jacket over a t-shirt. Good hiking shoes are a must, and don’t forget sunscreen and a hat!

Just did the Grand Lake Tour and wow!

I took the Grand Lake Tour last weekend and it was unbelievable! Starting in Estes Park, the drive over Trail Ridge Road was just stunning, especially at the Alpine Visitor Center. We stopped at this cute café in Grand Lake for lunch, and then hiked to Adams Falls — totally worth it! The views are out of this world. Highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves nature.

Considering the Grand Lake Tour for my parents' anniversary

I’m looking at getting my parents the Grand Lake Tour for their 25th anniversary! They love the mountains and scenic drives. Anyone know if they can reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate? Also, is it difficult or a leisurely ride? Thanks!
