Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but I would say kids over 8 should be fine, depending on their hiking experience. The trails can be rocky and uneven, so it's really up to the individual child. Just remember to check in with the guides about your group's capabilities before heading out.
A: Definitely wear comfortable hiking shoes, and layers are key! Mornings can be cool, but it heats up as you hike. Bring a light jacket and maybe a hat. I recommend packing some sunscreen too since you'll be exposed to the sun for a while. Oh, and don't forget a refillable water bottle!
A: The guides are great at keeping safety a priority! If the weather looks unmanageable, they may alter the route or, if necessary, cancel. It’s worth checking their cancellation policy as well, just in case you need to reschedule. But don't worry, they’re pros at finding the best times to hike!

Thinking of gifting the Rocky Mountain Half Day Hike - need tips!
So I'm considering gifting the Rocky Mountain National Park Half Day Hike to my brother for his birthday. I'm not sure if he’d enjoy it or if it's too physically demanding for him. Has anyone done this? What were your experiences like? I want it to be special!
Experience at Rocky Mountain National Park Half Day Hike
Just got back from the Rocky Mountain Half Day Hike and OMG, it was incredible! The views of the lakes were breathtaking, and our guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the area. We saw some wildlife too! Definitely worth every penny, but I think some parts were tougher than I expected. Anyone else have thoughts?
