Q&A

Q: Is there a weight limit for the rafts or kayaks for this float trip?

A: There isn't a specific weight limit listed for the rafts, but they do accommodate a variety of body types comfortably. The large excursion rafts they use have padded seats and backrests, so you should be good as long as everyone is within reasonable limits. It’s more about the total number of people than individual weight, so just check with Noah’s River Adventures if you have concerns!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes! Noah’s River Adventures is pretty flexible with rescheduling due to weather. They’ll typically give you options to change your date without extra fees, just make sure to call them as soon as you know you need to change plans. Overall, they’re super accommodating!

Q: What should we wear for the float? Is it cold on the water?

A: Definitely wear comfortable clothes! Swimwear is a good idea, plus maybe a light long sleeve if you tend to get cold. The water is usually nice and refreshing, especially in summer. Sunscreen is a must, and maybe bring a hat too, as it can get sunny out there.

Thinking of gifting the Rogue River Family Float experience!

I’m looking into gifting the Rogue River Family Float for my sister’s family. They’ve got kids aged 5 and 8, and it sounds like a blast! I love that it’s ages 2+ so everyone can join. The lunch options at Discovery Park look great too! Anyone done this recently? How was the experience? I’m worried about the kids getting bored.

Rafting Adventure on the Rogue River - So Much Fun!

Just got back from the Rogue River float, and wow! What a great experience! The scenery was beautiful, and the food options were delicious. We had the vegan tacos and some ice cream from the food truck. It was a perfect family day. Just a heads up, the lift back to Ashland was super smooth too. Highly recommend it for families!
