Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the stargazing experience in Ko Olina?

A: There’s no strict age limit! It’s a family-friendly experience, but I’d say it’s best for kids ages 7 and up. They’ll enjoy the telescopes and the guide’s explanations. Just keep in mind, it can get a little late for younger ones, so plan accordingly!

Q: What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

A: If the weather is bad, they usually reschedule or offer a full refund. Just check the forecast a day or two ahead of time. It’s a good idea to confirm with Stars Above Hawaii closer to your date.

Q: What should we wear for the stargazing show?

A: Definitely dress for comfort! It can get a bit chilly at night, so I’d recommend layers. A light jacket is a must! Don’t forget closed-toe shoes, since you might be walking around a bit.
